Justine Coleman
Justine Coleman, a Simsbury resident, is an accomplished painter. Her watercolors capture diverse subjects such as: florals, landscapes and historical buildings.
Justine has studied with local college professors and recognized artists. She received a B.S. from Central CT University and an M.S. in Education from the University of Hartford. She has also taken courses at NW CT Community College and received a Teaching Certification in Art Education.
Justine taught watercolor painting at Rhode Scholar Workshops and currently with Simsbury’s Continuing Education Program. Her paintings are included in collections at the Farmington Inn and Simsbury 1820 House. Justine has exhibited work at Avon Art Festivals and has won several awards in juried shows. She won first place in the watercolor category at the East Granby Library, Granby Land Trust Show and the Kent Art Association.
Justine is a member of the Connecticut Watercolor Society, Academic Artist Association, Kent Art Association and the Avon Arts Association.Email
